The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say that while some people might have predicted it, others are still be surprised that it’s happening again. Both John McCook and Jennifer Gareis have opened up about Eric and Donna’s second attempt at love nearly twelve years after their first marriage. Speaking to Soap Opera Digest in a new interview, John McCook, who plays Eric Forrester on the hit CBS soap, puts it this way, “What I really like about it is seeing how the characters have changed since. Donna was just a girl then. In a way, she put herself first and now, she is a woman who thinks of others ahead of herself.”
When asked if Donna sees a real future with Eric now, Jennier Gareis, who plays the beautiful blonde on the hit CBS soap, says, “I believe she does. She has already said that Eric is the love of her life and even though she was not a fan of Quinn, she did not want to sabotage their marriage. She stepped back because all she wanted was for Eric to be happy. “
John added, “It would have been so easy to go the other way around, but that shows you how much Donna has matured. I’ve said that before. When Donna came back to town in 2006, she was a girl but now she is a compassionate, intelligent, caring woman.”
Not only that but John also said that Eric is the kind of man that likes to be married, too! Watch this space as we have a feeling that another The Bold and the Beautiful wedding is in the works!
