Days of Our Lives spoilers say that this was a long time coming. Gabi DiMera is in the DiMera crypt after Jake’s memorial, just to find out that her husband Stefan isn’t dead! Keep reading below for all of the spoilers you need to know.
According to the latest edition of Soap Opera Digest, Days of Our Lives Head Writer Ron Carlivati says that this is the moment that everyone has been waiting for, as Gabi is finally reunited with the love of her life. She’s in absolute shock when she comes face to face with her husband, who she had presumed was actually dead these last few years.
Days of Our Lives spoilers however say that Gabi is taken aback to see Stefan and think that he’s Jake. Carlivati previews, “He walks in and she is understandably shocked. I don’t want to give away too much, but as the audience saw, he’s been programmed to not have feelings for Gabi anymore, and reinforce the feelings that he was developing for Chloe. So you have to wonder if he has somehow overcome the programming? Is he seeking out Gabi? You have to tune into Peacock on September 12th to see how that all shakes out.”
As far as what’s in store for Stefan and Gabi’s future, it looks like they’ve got some things to smooth out before they proceed forward with any kind of relationship between them again. Carlvati says, “The road to Stefan and Gabi coming together may be a little rocky and may be a little bumpy. Li pushes forward to marry Gabi and continue with his plans. I would say there’s hope for Gabi, but Li is not going to give up on her so easily. And Chloe will be a factor, too.”
But then again, we have a feeling that it won’t take long for these two to get busy under the sheets again! Watch this space.
