The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say that he might look like he’s a changed man but apparently, there aren’t a lot of people out there who believe him. Even though Thomas Forrester is taking more of an active role in his son Douglas’ life, Liam Spencer has every reason to question him, apparently. According to the latest edition of Soap Opera Digest, Liam thinks that Thomas might be up to his old tricks again. Speaking to the publication in a new interview, actor Scott Clifton, who plays Liam Spencer on the hit CBS soap, puts it this way, “I think Liam has had pretty understandable PTSD when it comes to Thomas. Any time Thomas wants to make a change or lodge any kind of complaint, Thomas asking for anything just freaks Liam out. Between all the interactions they have had in the past, and almost always, as far as Liam sees, it always leads to a pretense for Thomas to get closer to Hope. Liam has seen this circle over and over again.”
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say that even though Thomas insists that he’s not the same person that he was before, Liam is simply not buying it. That, and he also doesn’t like how the new dynamic between Thomas and Douglas keeps Hope away from home.
Scott added, “Thomas wants to spend more time with Douglas, but that means Hope is spending more time with Douglas and never coming home. And each day, Thomas says Douglas wants to stay a little longer. It puts Liam in a bad position. Hope is spending all of her time at the Forresters now and Liam is like ‘Oh no, here we go again.’ Liam does feel that Thomas is using this as a way to get closer to Hope.”
