The Young and the Restless spoilers say that Nate Hastings has a sneaky side that Elena might or might not appreciate. That’s because Nate tells Elena that he’s made all of the preparations to launch the first ever Chancellor and Winters music festival. However, he’s doing it all behind Devon’s back and says that he’s ready to go once Lily gives him the greenlight. Keep reading below for all of the spoilers you need to know.

The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Nate Tries To Wiggle His Way Out Of The Truth

Speaking to Soap Opera Digest in a new interview, actor Sean Dominic, who plays Nate on the hit CBS soap, puts it this way, “Nate doesn’t think he’s taking a risk because he’s convinced that the festival will be a huge moneymaker for the Chancellor and Winters. Eelena tries to talk Nate out of going forward with this plan until he can get Devon’s approval, but Nate knows that will never happen.”

The Young and the Restless spoilers say that during a video call with Jill, she asks if there’s any important matters that need to be discussed and that’s when Billy mentioned to Nate that they have to talk about the music festival. 

Sean previews, “Nate has no choice but to pitch the idea, although he wasn’t planning to. Of course, Devon dumps on it, while Jill loves it. She tells Lily to make the final decision and she decides to table the festival for now, which to Nate means she’s really siding with Devon.”

That’s when Nate abruptly leaves after feeling defeated. Sean continues, “Elena is shocked when Nate tells her that she’s quitting.”
