The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that for couples on soaps, happiness is short lived. At this moment John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) and Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood), are whooping it up as he is back from the dead and they are raising two adorable kids. They are young, successful, wealthy and have it all. Ruh roh. That can’t last!
Steffy’s frenemy Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) is fighting with her brother Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) for custody of Douglas Forrester (Django Ferri). Everyone is taking sides and it looks like Sinn will be on different teams on this epic battle. What happens next could turn explosive!
In the August 30 episode of the LA based sudser, Finn asked Hope how she was doing in the heat of battle and Steffy was dismissive of her. Steffy is rooting for Thomas and said that Hope should be happy to have Douglas raised by his Forrester family.
Finn dropped the whole thing but clearly Steffy will not be assuaged over the custody battle. She and her parents Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) and Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) are adamant that Thomas raise Douglas, not Hope.
Steffy and Finn will have a real test of their marriage as the custody battle wears on.
The Forresters think that Thomas’ biological connection to Douglas trumps Hope’s role. She is the mom who cared for him after his biological mother, Caroline Spencer (Linsey Godfrey), died. Finn is adopted and loves Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda) as the only mother he has ever known. She saved his life after biological mom Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) shot him.
Clearly, the ‘blood is thicker than water’ contention will play at Finn’s heartstrings. Is there a right or wrong answer to this dilemma and custody battle, tell us B&B fans, who do you think Douglas should be with?
