The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Chance Encourages Chelsea, Will She Read Him Right?

The Young and The Restless spoilers and updates tease that Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) will try to give Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) some encouragement. It would seem since Chance was trying to close his late partner Rey Rosales’ (Jordi Vilasuso) cases, now he’s taking on encouraging his friend; but will Chelsea read Chance right?

Rey was being kind to Chelsea after getting to know her better and became a big brother of sorts to her son Connor Newman (Judah Mackey). But Chelsea seemed to be showing some more-than-friends feelings for Rey, in spite of his being married to Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case). Now Chance is reaching out to her with some encouragement, possibly both because Rey had befriended her and because she’d been married to Adam Newman (Mark Grossman).

Chelsea has twice now gotten too close to married men or men who had partners, Rey first and then Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson). Will the same thing happen with Chance, or will she read him right about his intentions?

Y & R Spoilers: Too Close Again?

Chelsea knew Chance from when he was still somewhat friends with Adam – Chance had found Adam in Las Vegas where he was living under the alias “Spyder”. Adam had saved Chance’s life there and the two had become involved together in a FBI case Chance was working on at the time. But then, Chelsea knew Billy from before too; and even better than Chance, especially considering she and Billy have a child together. But now that Billy has made it plain to her there is nothing romantic on his end, will she misinterpret Chance’s intentions? Or will she become too close to Chance when he’s trying to be just a friend, like she did with Rey and more recently with Billy?

The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Chelsea Lawson Rebound Ready

Chelsea seems rebound ready again, and it doesn’t seem to take very long for her to suffer romantic transference to another potential partner. She even got a little too close for comfort to her ex Adam recently, although she may have done that to spite Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) who happened to be nearby. Chance may wind up having to tell Chelsea to cool her jets lest their friendship be misinterpreted.

The last thing he needs is for his wife Abby Newman Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) to see him trying to be a friend to Chelsea and get the wrong idea. Or even worse, have his father in law Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) take notice and get in the middle.
