Drew has wanted to take back control of his family company ELQ from Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart). Drew had hoped that he and Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell temporarily play by Robert Adamson) could merge ELQ with Aurora Media. Drew and Michael believed the merger would give them the power to push Valentin out of his position as CEO. Drew and Michael’s plan fell through because Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) and Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) sided with Valentin. Drew knows that Valentin wants to continue to be the CEO of ELQ but he hopes he can convince him to give up his position. Drew knows that Valentin has been having trouble with his father Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy). Drew has had his trouble with Victor in the past. Victor and Peter August (Wes Ramsey) held Drew captive for years. Drew wants to take Victor down and believes he can help Valentin. Drew may want Curtis to help him to get information on Victor and Valentin. Drew and Curtis may find out that Victor is using Valentin’s daughter Charlotte Cassadine (Amelie McLain) against him.

Drew may want to get Curtis to give him information about Nina to help Carly. Drew knows that Curtis is good friends with Nina. Drew may want to Curtis to give him advice on his relationship with Carly.
