The Young and the Restless spoilers say that Diane Jenkins can’t help but do a double take when she enters Society and spots investigative reporter Talia Morgan sitting by herself and dining alone. That’s when she makes her move and confronts her. Keep reading below for all of the spoilers you need to know.
Speaking to Soap Opera Digest in a new interview, actress Susan Walters, who plays Diane Jenkins on the hit CBS soap, says that she already knew that Talia is an investigative reporter from Los Angeles. She explains to the publication, “A red flag immediately goes up because she already knew from Michael that Nikki had been snooping around about Diane’s time in L.A.”
The Young and the Restless spoilers also say that when Diane approaches Talia, she’s quite surprised to see the person she’s supposed to investigate at her table. Susan continues, “Talia wasn’t expecting to see Diane, who can see that Talia is caught off guard. Talia explains that she’s here doing a story on Ashland, and Diane says she knew the guy and will be happy to provide what she knows about him.”
That said, Talia has no choice but to accept Diane’s offer and before she knows it, the two women are engaged in a tense conversation over a dead man that she really has no interest in talking about. However, Susan says, “There’s a lot of talking in code. Diane is trying to figure out why Talia is here, while Talia is being evasive, and then Nikki and Phyllis shows up.”
The Young and the Restless viewers know that whenever Nikki and Phyllis show up to the party, drama will ensue. That, or they will definitely take this opportunity to speak their minds! Watch this space.
