General Hospital spoilers say that Mac is determined to find out the truth and nothing but the truth. But he knows it won’t be easy. Mac can’t help but feel shocked when he finds out that Cody is the biological son of Leopold Taub and the late Dominique, with him he actually had a fling with and before she was married to Scotty. When both he and Felicia determine what had gone down, they both feel like there is more to the story. Keep reading below for all of the spoilers you need to know.
Speaking to Soap Opera Digest in a new interview, actor John J. York, who plays Mac on the hit ABC soap, says that his character feels as though there is a key detail missing in all of this information that he was just given.
He puts it this way, “Felicia and Mac begin to wonder if maybe Leopold isn’t Cody’s father, someone else is. It’s like a puzzle that he’s putting together in his mind, thinking about what his own relationship with Dominique was, thinking about what a bad guy Leopold was, how controlling he was. If he had a son, why would he hide his son?”
If that weren’t enough, Mac thinks about the timing in all of this and for a second, thinks that maybe Cody could be his own son. Talk about a plot twist! If Cody is in fact his son, this will change everything. He explained, “He and Felicia dance around that topic without actually saying the words. But Mac has a lot of questions, At this point, he doesn’t know anything for sure. But if it were true, it would certainly change things – and would that be a good thing or a bad thing for his family? Mac just doesn’t know.”
