General Hospital Spoilers: Spencer Gets Upset After Finding Out That Nikolas Slept With Esme

General Hospital Spoilers: Spencer Gets Upset After Finding Out That Nikolas Slept With Esme

According to the latest edition of Soap Opera Digest, Nicholas Chavez, who plays Spencer on the hit ABC soap, admits that his character is reeling from Nikolas’ betrayal. He definitely did him dirty. Chavez puts it this way, “It is such an extreme degree of sick,  twisted behavior on his father’s part, and for Spencer – and I think for anyone whose parents would do this to them – it’s completely irredeemable. It’s unforgivable. This is the kind of behavior that doesn’t’ get moved past, and their relationship will never, ever be the same after a transgression of this kind. I think it reveals a lot about the character of Nikolas Cassadine that he would do something truly sick and twisted, and honestly, Spencer’s reaction reveals a lot about Spencer. That he doesn’t kill him shows a lot of maturity on Spencer’s part! But it is going to permanently alter the shape of their relationship, because how could it not?”

General Hospital spoilers say that after confronting his father over the matter, Spencer is
“Incredibly angry and hurt and pissed,” and starts to get drunk. If that weren’t enough, he also finds out that his great-uncle Victor thinks he may be responsible for Ava’s injuries.

Chavez continues, “It takes him completely by surprise. Spencer is really like, ‘Did I do that? I think Spencer’s life has been so crazy that he’s probably developed some sort of deep anxiety and paranoia about what is possible. But I think that the even greater paranoia than that would be that someone might be trying to pin it on him, which is equally scary.”
