Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Johnny Is Not On Board With EJ’s Plans For Ava

Days of Our Lives spoilers say that EJ decides to use Ava’s mental health against her – specifically her hallucinations of Jake just so she’s not considered as a DiMera shareholder anymore. Unfortunately, EJ’s son Johnny doesn’t think this is a good idea. Keep reading below for all of the spoilers you need to know.

Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Johnny Is Not On Board With EJ’s Plans For Ava

Speaking to Soap Opera Digest, Carson Boatman, who plays Johnny on the hit NBC soap, puts it this way, “Johnny’s reaction to all of this is not a surprise. Still, there’s an immense amount of anger and disgust. Johnny cares about Ava, and she becomes a large source of tension between EJ and Johnny.”

Days of Our Lives spoilers say that Johnny later thanks EJ for his kindness to Ava, but finds out that it was all a scam, especially when all of the shareholders are summoned and EJ calls for a new vote. Then EJ moves for Ava to be disqualified, since she doesn’t fit the bill.

Carson explains, “It turns out EJ’s been playing the nice guy in order to manipulate Ava into making admissions, and even get Johnny to make admissions about Ava’s mental state. He was just using them all along. It hurts Johnny on multiple levels. It’s like, ‘You lied to me and you hurt somebody that I care about. And, on the other hand, you broke a sacred trust between father and son, which hurts on a different level.’”

That said, EJ feels sympathy, but Ava sure isn’t buying it. She says that she never hallucinated Jake and Gabi and Li back her up. In other words, someone sure has a lot of explaining to do here, right? Carson previews, “EJ really breaks Johnny’s confidence. Once EJ sees the move Johnny makes, he’s unpleasantly surprised.”
