Piers Morgan Says Meghan Markle Is Exploiting Her Royal Status With Spotify Podcast

She’s damned if she does, she’s damned if she doesn’t. It seems like it really doesn’t matter what Meghan Markle says or does, Piers Morgan is sure going to find a way to criticize her for it, right? This time around Piers Morgan says that the Duchess of Sussex is exploiting her royal status with her podcast. Keep reading below for everything you need to know.

Piers seemingly shared a a verbal eye roll over Meghan’s latest podcast, in which she talked about parenthood, shared a story about a fire in Archie’s nursery during their trip to Africa and how she was deemed too ambitious when she started dating Prince Harry. Meghan said: “I don’t ever remember personally feeling the negative connotation behind the word ambitious, until I started dating my now-husband. And apparently, ambition is a terrible terrible thing, for women that is, according to some.”

Of course, Piers sure had something to say about it. He wrote on Twitter, “It’s not your ambition we dislike, Princess Pinocchio – it’s the vile way you trash the Royal Family whilst simultaneously exploiting your royal status for millions of dollars as with this podcast.”

Piers also shared his thoughts on the nursery fire incident. He said, “He wasn’t even in the room & nobody was harmed. Can you imagine the Queen whining about having to an an engagement in this circumstance? Markle’s victimhood knows no bounds, nor does her thirst to trash the royals whilst making $$$ from them. It’s shameless & pathetic.”

Even though the incident had left the Duchess of Sussex shaken to the core, a palace aide told the Daily Mail that they do recall the incident and while there was not an actual fire, the heater was smoking but it was also unplugged and dealt with rather quickly.

The insider also said that Meghan was in tears over the incident, as any parent would be and that she and Prince Harry moved to a different accommodation after it all went down. The tipster also said that any announcement about a fire being in Archie’s room would have overshadowed the couple’s work in South Africa, which is something they didn’t want to do.

Yikes. So far Meghan herself has not made any comments about the criticism although at this point, it’s doubtful that she will.
