The Young and the Restless Alum Justin Hartley Lands New Movie Role

The Young and the Restless alum Justin Hartley (ex-Adam Newman) sure is keeping busy these days! Even though he is no longer on daytime television and his primetime drama This is Us has ended, Justin still has a lot going on in his career. In fact, he just announced that he’s starring in a new holiday movie. Here’s what you need to know!

According to new reports, Justin will be starring as a character by the name of Jacob Churcher in the Netflix movie, The Noel Diary. He wrote on Instagram, “Excited to share with you all that my new film, The Noel Diary, will be coming to Netflix this Thanksgiving Day! Directed by Charles Shyer and co-starring Barrett Doss. Can’t wait for you all to see this special film.” And as Doss declared on her own Insta: “Holidays are coming early this year!”

If that weren’t enough, Justin is also starring in a new series called The Never Game. It is based off Jeffrey Deaver’s novel and Justin plays a character by the name of Colter Shaw. He is described as a “lone-wolf survivalist who uses his skills as a tracker to help citizens and law enforcement solve mysteries.”

Meanwhile, Justin’s wife and fellow The Young and the Restless alum Sofia Pernas seems to be keeping rather busy, too. According to reports, Sofia will be headed to Blood and Treasure Season 2 on Paramount+, where she will be reprising her role as art thief Lexi Vaziri. How exciting!  As many fans can recall, Sofia played Marisa on The Young and the Restless. It’s without a doubt that they will be excited to see her back on the small screen.

Sofia has surely been making a lot of headlines ever since she got with Justin Hartley. As many fans can recall, Justin Hartley pulled the plug on his marriage to hi ex-wife Chrishell Stause back in November of 2019. Soon after, he connected with Sofia again and two began dating during the first quarter of 2020, when most of the world was in lockdown because of COVID-19. And since then, it’s been nothing but bliss for Justin and Sofia, as they officially tied the knot back in March of this year.
