British Royal News: Royal Critics Question Why South Africa Fire Incident Was Never Leaked To The Press

British Royal News suggests that the royal rota has been left rather befuddled over Meghan Markle’s story about her son Archie being almost caught in a fire in South Africa. In fact, a lot of people can’t help but wonder why the story was never leaked to the press, prompting others to question the validity of Meghan’s claims. Here’s what you need to know.

During her Archetype podcast, Meghan detailed what had happened when she found out that her son Archie was almost caught in a fire that broke out in his nursery in the home they were staying in. Meghan said that it was their nanny Lauren who made the decision to take Archie with her downstairs a little before the fire began.

Meghan recalled, “She was from Zimbabwe, and we loved that she would always tie him on her, her back with a mud cloth, and her instinct was like, ‘Let me just bring him with me before I put him down.’ In that amount of time that she went downstairs, the heater in the nursery caught on fire. There was no smoke detector. Someone happened to just smell smoke down the hallway went in, fire extinguished. He was supposed to be sleeping in there.”

British Royal News: Some People Are Questioning Meghan’s Story

Commenting on the ordeal, royal journalist Angela Levin had this to say on Twitter, “Meghan outraged that she had to go on another royal engagement in S. Africa after she heard there was a fire in baby Archie’s room. Nasty to hear but as an actress doesn’t she know the show must go on. Luckily he wasn’t there but odd it was never leaked to the press.”

Many others said on social media, “It’s extraordinary in her victimhood narrative that this gem hasn’t been submitted to the public for sympathy and points,” along with, ‘I would have sympathized but everything with her is with over-the-top drama and attitude. I’ll be listening to Hillary & Chelsea’s upcoming doc instead: more thought-provoking substance there.”

Meghan hasn’t responded to any of the criticism.
