British Royal News: Prince William Is Trying To Make Prince Harry Jealous In This Way

British Royal News says that they might be grown men, but they certainly are acting like spoiled babies. At least, that’s what some royal critics believe. There’s a new report that suggests Prince William wants to “flaunt his statesman credentials” to make his little brother Prince Harry jealous. Here’s what you need to know.

According to reports, royal commentator Daniela Elser believes that William might be using his trip to Boston for the Earthshot Prize as his way of rubbing his status in his little brother’s eyes. William will also be in New York to promote last year’s prize winners, in an event that will coincide with “NYC Climate Week and 77th Session of the UN General Assembly.”

Elser puts it this way in her column for the New Zealand Herald, ““This is exactly the turf that Harry and Meghan have been trying, not particularly successfully, to carve out as their own. It was only last month that the duke was at the General Assembly, delivering a speech to mark Nelson Mandela Day that touched on, among other issues, the climate crisis, to an embarrassing number of empty seats.”

She added: “William is now undertaking a New York climate event of his very own, and with all the opportunities to flaunt his statesman credentials, may well only inflame family tensions further. Whether entirely coincidental or not, this all feels like William not so much treading on his younger brother’s toes but enthusiastically clog dancing over Harry’s bare feet.”

Many royal fans commented on the matter with, “William’s attempts at statesmanship have been laughable so it’s stupid to brag about it. So far I’ve learned Bill is moving an hour (?) away from his third home and office to his fourth home, plans to drop off/pick up the kids to school and will only show up for work if he looks like a statesman.”
