The Young and the Restless spoilers say that Nick Newman has a huge confession to make. He shows up at the coffeehouse and lets Sharon and Chase know that they have officially closed the investigation into Ashland’s death. Keep reading below for everything you need to know.
Even though the news should finally close this chapter for everyone, Nick is still feeling rather troubled by it all. Of course, the only person who seems not to care much is Victor Newman. Speaking to Soap Opera Digest in a new interview, actor Joshua Morrow, who plays Nick on the hit CBS soap, explains, “Nick is just not built like his dad, who can do this sort of thing for the sake of the family without batting an eyelash. Nick stopped Ashland for the sake of family, but he’s not dealing with the repercussions nearly as well. Nick’s really struggling with this.”
However, The Young and the Restless spoilers say that Sharon tells Nick that the one good thing that will come out of this is that Victoria Newman can finally go back to living a normal life again. Or at least as normal as it should be.
With that said, Nick is still unsure. Joshua continues, “Although Nick has discussed feeling badly about ending Ashland’s life, Sharon doesn’t think he’s probably dealing with it. She offers to be his sounding board to help him get a handle on his feelings, but even then Nick may still choose to go to the police and come clean about the coverup. Will dealing with the ramifications of his actions outweigh his allegiance to his family?”
We have a feeling that Nick is going to be spending a lot of time investigating Ashland’s death. And when he learns the truth, he sure is going to be shocked over it, especially if he finds out that his father was involved. Watch this space.
