The Young and the Restless spoilers say that if this looks familiar and if it sounds familiar, it’s because it definitely is familiar. Apparently, Chelsea Newman has decided to take things to the next level with Billy Abbott for better or for worse. Keep reading below for all of the spoilers you need to know.
According to the latest issue of Soap Opera Digest, when Billy asks Chelsea to meet with him, he’s hoping he will change his mind about quitting their podcast. Actress Melissa Claire Egan, who plays Chelsea on the hit CBS soap, puts it this way in a new interview with the publication, “She loves the podcast. It allows her to be creative in a different way and has been therapeutic for her. She really enjoys working with Billy and just as it gets going, it’s ripped away, so it was very devastating for her.”
The Young and the Restless spoilers say that Billy surprises Chelsea by suggesting that she should have her own podcast. However, she’s not so sure about that. Melissa continues, “Chelsea loves the back and forth with Billy on their podcast, so her own wouldn’t be the same. She doesn’t really feel comfortable going off on her own this soon, so she turns down his offer to go solo.”
The Young and the Restless spoilers then say that as soon as Billy accepts their decision, they start talking about different ideas and before he knows it, Chelsea kisses him. While the moment might have been inappropriate, Melissa says that Billy, “very quickly stops the kiss, so she’s mortified. She doesn’t know if she will ever be able to face him again.”
Of course, there might also be other reasons why Billy pulled away, right? He might not want to make the same mistake or he might want her so much that he also doesn’t want to make the same mistake in that regard.
