British Royal News: Critics Believe Harry And Meghan’s Visit To The UK Is ‘Commercially Driven’

British Royal News says that it really doesn’t matter what they do or say, someone somewhere is going to find a reason to criticize them. This time around there are some critics who believe that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are only visiting the UK next month because they have to – and not because they want to. Here’s what you need to know.

Dan Wootton of the Daily Mail says that Harry and Meghan have perhaps scheduled their upcoming trip to the UK and Germany as a way to keep their names in the headlines. He said, “So perhaps the biggest question is, given the acrimony, why are Harry and Meghan so keen to return to the UK not long after their last disastrous visit? The answer, courtiers suspect, is likely to be, at least in part, commercially driven. Much to their horror, the Sussexes are discovering that the US interest in them is decreasing, as their proximity to the Royal Family and Britain grows ever more distant.”

That, and he also believes that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s behavior is doing no one any favors. He thinks that they are better off doing whatever charity work they need to do in California and the States and not in the UK. Now, whether or not that will actually happen is anyone’s guess at this point. 

British Royal News: Are Harry And Meghan Getting Desperate?

He wrote, “It’s easy to understand why some courtiers believe Harry and Meghan no longer care about the destruction they’re causing to the monarchy, with their criticism likely to grow louder if the Queen were to pass away in the coming years, a prospect royal aides are now having to countenance.”

So far Harry and Meghan have not made any comments about the criticism although at this point it’s doubtful that anything will be said. Instead, they’ll just do what they have to do in the UK and then go home as quickly as possible. Watch this space.
