The Young and the Restless spoilers say that these two women have their plan in motion. Phyllis and Nikki decide to meet up to discuss their plan in trying to rid Diane from Genoa City but end up meeting someone else in the process. Keep reading below for all of the spoilers you need to know.
Speaking to Soap Opera Digest in a new interview, The Young and the Restless Co-Executive Producer and Head Writer Josh Griffith previews, “While Nikki has shared a rocky past with Phyllis, Nikki knows that if anyone can sabotage Diane, it’s Phyllis. Nikki is leaning into the mantra, ‘The enemy of my enemy is my friend.’”
The Young and the Restless spoilers say that when Nikki starts to get a little restless over the fact that Phyllis is taking things rather slow when it comes to their plans to ruin Diane over at Marchetti, Phyllis questions Nikki and what she’s really done on her end. Nikki says that she’s met with a woman named Talia Morgan, who is an investigative reporter from Los Angeles who is interested in Diane’s story. Griffith explains, “Both women are encouraged that a journalist of Talia’s caliber is interested in doing an expose on Diane.”
Phyllis decides that she wants to meet with Talia too just to see what they can get out of this story. She’s also anxious in finding out what Diane’s life was like as Taylor Jensen. Griffith adds, “Nikki and Phyllis will soon find themselves in the middle of a shocking scandal. Someone learns of Talia’s investigation and interferes with it.”
In other words, it sounds as though Diane is about to get exposed as everyone in Genoa City will learn the truth about her double life. But knowing how she operates, we have a feeling that Diane will retaliate one way or another. Phyllis might want to watch her back!
