The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say that sooner or later, fans knew this would happen. In fact, Steffy Forrester and Taylor Forrester are urging Thomas Forrester to fight to get his son Douglas back with him. Keep reading below for all of the spoilers you need to know.
Speaking to Soap Opera Digest in a new interview, Thomas’ portrayer, Matthew Atkinson, puts it this way, “Steffy and his parents are very encouraging. They want to see him fulfill his role as a father, especially now that their own family is closer than they have been in years. No one is more on his side than Steffy.”
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say that even though he wants Douglas back in his life again, he also understands why he and his son needed the time apart. Matthew continues, “Thomas sees what everyone else in his family sees, that he needed space to deal with things, and now it’s a different situation. He has moved on, and Thomas is missing his son and wants him back. He doesn’t want to rip him out of his home, but Thomas feels he needs to be a father again.”
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers also tease that Hope Logan is none too pleased with the idea that she might lose Douglas and to Thomas, no less. Matthew explains, “Thomas just wants to take his rightful place. He’s not saying they are no longer a family. It’s just the opposite. He’s not prying Douglas away from Hope. He knows Doulgas has bounded with hope, Liam and Beth, and he believes they can all make it work.”
It sounds to us as though Thomas is being very reasonable about all of this – but will Hope listen to him? Watch this space.
