General Hospital Spoilers: Nikolas Makes A Shocking Confession To Victor

General Hospital Co-Head writers Chris Van Etten and Dan O’Connor tell Soap Opera Digest in a new interview, “He knows that when – or if – Esme’s body should turn up, it could bear evidence linking Ava to her fall. By covering for his wife, he’s making himself her accomplice after the fact. But Nikolas bruises this off without a second thought. The only thing he cares about is protecting Ava.”

General Hospital spoilers also say that when Victor presses him about Esme’s disappearance, Nikolas wants to tell him the truth. The scribes put it this way, “Nikolas knows Victor is a man of means. Victor could arrange to clean up evidence, lay a false trail to take scrutiny off Ava and even track down and dispose of Esme’s body. But Nikolas also has reason to be skeptical of Victor’s trustworthiness. If Nikolas avails himself of Victor’s help, he and Avan would both find themselves at his uncle’s mercy. And that could prove worse than any potential legal consequences.”

General Hospital Spoilers: Nikolas Says He Was The One Who Killed Esme

General Hospital spoilers also tease that at the end, Nikolas decides to come clean with the truth and tells Victor that he was the one who killed Esme. Or at least, that’s what he wants Victor to believe. The writers preview, “Nik’s calculus is simple: He has to take eyes off Ava. He’d sooner take the rap himself than put her through more misery on account of Esme’s fate.”

In other words, Nikolas is going everything he can to protect the love of his life, even if that means he has to take the fall for Ava’s doing. Watch this space.
