The Young and the Restless spoilers say that Chance Chancellor might want to watch his back! While there’s a chance that he might be onto something by suspecting that Victor was the one who had something to do with Ashland’s death, he might want to be careful. Because if there’s one person you don’t want to cross, it’s Victor Newman! Here’s what you need to know.

Chance is putting the dots together and he believes that Victor Newman had something to do with Ashland’s sudden and untimely death. But of course, Victor will never give in, even if he did indeed kill his daughter’s wayward husband. At the same time though, fans believe that Chance might not want to dig too deep into his investigation because he might be on Victor’s hit list next!

Of course, it didn’t take long at all for both The Young and the Restless fans and critics to weigh in on the matter. Many of them wrote on social media, “I just hope Chance won’t be on Victor’s hit list once he gets the proof he needs to lock Victor up and throw away the key! Abby has a feeling her family is involved with Ashland’s death and Chance doesn’t want her to know what he suspects. She needs to tell him she’s on his side!” along with, “Well at least Chance is not going to be able to charge anyone for being accessories after the fact, because Nick, Victoria, Sharon, Nicki and soon Abby knows all about it!!”

Another critic wrote, “So let me get this straight, the police department is ok with having a son-in-law investigate his father-in-law on a crime that could lead to charges or jail time.  There is no one else in the dept that could do that.  Conflict of interest and awkward times at Thanksgiving.”
