The Young and the Restless spoilers say that fans will soon be seeing a very familiar face in Genoa City. That’s because Natalie Morales, who a lot of people will recognize from The Talk, will be joining the show! She will be playing an investigative reporter named Talia in an upcoming episode. Here’s what you need to know!
Speaking to Soap Opera Digest in a new interview, Natlie admits that she is super excited to appear in multiple episodes. She said, “I was floored. I mean, I never thought I would get a chance to be on The Young and the Restless, yet here I am! And it’s not just a cameo, I actually have a story arc, which is an incredible honor for me.”
That said, Natalie admits that she didn’t grow up watching American soap operas. She said, “Growing up in Panama and Brazil, I was a telenova girl, so for us, that was must see TV. When I got home from school, we didn’t have the ability to record things back then, but I did watch the Luke and Laura wedding on General Hospital because that was the event of that year. I never really tuned into the U.S. soaps and now because they are our lead in to The Talk, I find myself watching them a little more.”
Natalie also said that if given the opportunity, she would come back to Genoa City and film even more episodes in a heartbeat. She said, “Listen, Genoa City has a lot of interesting characters with really good stories and subplots. If Y&R wants Talia to do a little more digging, I’m always happy to come back. There are a lot of skeletons in those closets and some aren’t hidden very well.”
Needless to say, The Young and the Restless fans will have to tune in to find out what will happen next!
