Speaking to Soap Opera Digest in a new interview, actor Paul Telfer, who plays Xander Cook on the hit NBC soap, says that his character doesn’t want to wait anymore. That said, it’s also complicated between them. He offered, “Yes, it’s romantic, but it’s also pragmatic. You don’t give this town and these people any more opportunity than you have to interrupt your wedding. There have been too many close calls.”

However, Days of Our Lives spoilers say that Sarah is totally down to become Xander’s wife, for better or for worse. Yet, Xander confesses that he sold her ring to buy Gwen’s, but also tells her that he will do everything to get it back.

Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Xander Is Feeling A Bit Frustrated

The actor continued, “As awkward and tone-deafly as he was trying to foist Sarah’s ring onto Gwen, he is just as awkwardly running back to the pawn shop to see if he can get Sarah’s original ring back.”

Days of Our Lives spoilers say that the moment the couple’s nuptials begin, it’s interrupted by Jada, who wants to bring Sarah in for questioning about Abigail’s murder. Paul explains, “Xander takes the whole thing as an outrage and an invasion of privacy. It’s a very sweet wedding. It’s finally happening. So, of course, here comes one of the crafty Salem PD cops to ruin things.”
