The Young and the Restless spoilers say that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) is going to break up with Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope), but it’s not what you think. Because he is determined to keep Sally from getting fired at Newman Media by his sister Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle), Adam decides to break up with Sally just so Victoria can assume that he has no influence whatsoever in the company. According to the latest edition of Soap Opera Digest, Mark Grossman, who plays Adam on the hit CBS soap, puts it this way, “He can see the writing on the wall with Victoria back in charge at Newman, and he decides to do the noble thing so that Sally can keep her job.”
However, The Young and the Restless spoilers say that Sally is understandably shocked when Adam tells her that it’s over between them. Yet, she doesn’t believe them. Grossman continued, “To really sell it, he has to be cruel to her. She has to believe that this breakup is genuine so he becomes a real son of a bitch. He claims that his father doesn’t respect him anymore because of Sally.”
But because Sally is the smart girl that she is, she realizes that Adam is only doing all of this to save her position and that’s when she begs him to quit the act. Grossman says, “Seeing her in this much pain affects Adam and he begins to waver. Now he has to decide if he should end the charade or stick to his guns.”
How long Adam will be able to keep up this act is anyone’s guess. Sally won’t be able to take this charade for very long, especially if Adam continues to be mean and icy to her. Of course, The Young and the Restless fans will have to tune in each and every day to find out what will happen next! Watch this space.
