Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Another Major Character Will Die

Days of Our Lives spoilers say that it’s getting pretty hard to stay attached to some of our favorite daytime television characters. That’s because DOOL head writer Ron Carlivati says that another major character in Salem is going to be killed in the coming weeks ahead. Here’s what you need to know.

In an interview with Michael Fairman TV, the Days of Our Lives scribe teased, “Another major character is going to be killed, like, in the fairly near future. They will be killed and it leads to big story, not a murder mystery.”

Carlivati also added, “It’s not Marlena [Deidre Hall], I’ll just say that.”

Of course, many Days of Our Lives fans weighed in on the matter on social media. Some commented with, “In the interview he did with Michael Fairman, Ron stated it was his decision to kill off the character, it’s not because the actor wanted to leave.I don’t watch it much either, but my guess would be Victor Kiriakis. John Aniston seems ready to retire,” while another fan said, “Saying it’s not Marlena makes me think it’s John Black. This is Days. Every character who has been killed or died comes back to life. Can guarantee if they throw enough money at Peter that Bo will come back like Tripp did.”

Another fan wrote, “I wouldn’t see the point of killing off John. At his and Marlena’s ages they deserve a happily ever after. Why make Marlena a widow at age 74? I would think a younger character would have more impact. I was also thinking maybe Chloe. She’s pretty useless, and it would create story for Brady and Nancy and people would think Kristen did it. Who knows–I could be way off.”
