The Young and the Restless spoilers say that the band is back together. Well, at least for now. Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) couldn’t be happier knowing that her brother Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) has returned to Newman Enterprises. What’s more, he’s also accepted her offer to become the company’s new COO. Here’s what you need to know.

According to the latest edition of Soap Opera Digest, Nick has decided to come back to Newman for a good reason. While he and Victoria have had their ups and downs in the past, family will always be his number one priority – and especially now more than ever before. Joshua Morrow, who plays Nick on the hit CBS soap, puts it this way, “What has always been important to Nick is keeping peace in the family and protecting everyone. Nick realized he could no longer do those jobs if he’s not involved in the day to day operations of his family, and unfortunately, that goes hand in hand with Newman Enterprises.”

The Young and the Restless spoilers though say that Nick can’t help but feel bad when he realizes that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will get the shaft over this. Joshua continues, “Victor placed Adam as interim CEO, but it was really a ploy to get Victoria to come back. Nick feels badly for his brother, but now Nick’s overriding concern is making sure his family’s operating as cohesively as possible.”

This also means that Nick has a reason to be on high alert because of Ashland. There’s no knowing what he might have up his sleeve right now. Joshua further explained, “Nick isn’t back to relax, so until Ashland is completely out of the picture, Nick won’t let his guard down – and that soon turns out to be a good thing.”
