Days of Our Lives spoilers say that while Nicole has certainly had a lot of partners in her life, it looks like her heart might still belong to one person. But who that person is, no one really knows. Sure, Nicole may be married to Rafe now, but there’s still a chance that she might have a little love left over for Eric. Here’s what you need to know.

According to the latest edition of Soap Opera Digest, everyone keeps asking Nicole about her supposed love for Eric. It seems like it’s a topic of discussion that just won’t go away. Arianne Zucker, who plays Nicole on the hit NBC soap, admits that her character is still surprised that Nicole is suppressing all of her true feelings for him.

Arianne put it this way, “People are bringing it up because there’s a look in the eye and quite honestly, not so much time has gone by that they haven’t been together. Nicole can see why people are asking. It’s probably because there’s still a lot of love there, and these particular two have a hard time not loving each other. It’s really hard on Nicole. Even when they ended their relationship, it’s not what she really wanted. She did what she thought was the best thing for Eric. So, naturally, she’s still going to have huge feelings for him.”

Days of Our Lives spoilers say that Nicole shares an interesting moment with Eric, but is still staying near Rafe’s side. Arianne continued, “Rafe’s always been this stable guy, and Nicole wants that stability in her life. Rafe is grounded, and I think that’s what Nicole really loves about him.”
