Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Chad Is Mourning Abigail – Will He Be Able To Move On?

Days of Our Lives spoilers say that for Chad DiMera, he certainly didn’t want to see this day come. It’s the day of Abigail’s funeral and while Chad is being comforted by his loved ones, there is no doubt that he is mourning the love of his life and what could have been their future together. Here’s what you need to know.

Speaking to Soap Opera Digest in a new interview, actor Billy Flynn, who plays Chad on the hit NBC soap, says that his character is feeling pretty disconnected and is not even wanting to take part in the funeral. 

Flynn puts it this way to the publication, “It’s 100 percent denial. In the mix is Chad also having to have this conversation with his kids about what happened, and that’s not something that he wants to do at all. He almost wants to be alone, but Sonny, Will and Tony are different. Also, Chad’s brain starts to turn so that he can’t really accept that this happened until he knows who did it. There’s no refuge here for Chad. The funeral’s the funeral. And honestly, his feelings about it is, once she’s gone, they are going to put her in the ground and Chad doesn’t want any part of that. That’s kind of how I played it.”

Days of Our Lives Spoilers: What’s Next for Chad?

Days of Our Lives spoilers say that Chad comes home and continues to mourn his wife. Needless to say, he’s feeling pretty lost. Billy continues, “He wants to know who killed Abigail probably more than he wants to talk to the kids about what happened, more than he wants to bury her, more than he wants to do anything. It’s going to come to a place where he feels nothing but rage, and there’s not really a whole lot in between.”
