Days of Our Lives spoilers say that life beyond Salem might never be the same again, and that’s mostly because Harris Michaels is back. That’s right: Steve Burton is reprising the role that began his soap career so many years ago. The actor recently shared a preview of Beyond Salem: Chapter 2 on his Instagram page and of course, fans have been sharing all of their thoughts and reactions about it. Sharing a teaser trailer of Beyond Salem, Steve captioned it with, “Who’s watching my next project Beyond Salem? It was a blast working with friends from @nbcdays and I had a lot of wardrobe changes. Starts July 11th on @peacocktv Check it out!”
Of course, it didn’t take very long for both Steve’s fans and followers to comment on the new teaser trailer. Many of them wrote, “I’ve never watched Days, but I will for you and for them not shunning you. GH sucks without you in it… stopped watching when you left…. Enjoy being treated with respect from another soap…. You deserve it!! Will definitely check it out,” along with, “Congratulations on your new project, but I do hope this is temporary and you return to GH at some point where you belong. You are missed. So happy you have found a new place for you to do what you love. Stopped watching GH because of the vax mandate that made you and Jax leave.”
Another fan wrote, “As much as I miss Steve, I’m glad that he found a new home. Hopefully they will make him a full-time character on Days of Our Lives. Steve left on good terms with the network. Whether we agree with his choices or not I think at this point he would be welcomed back.”
