The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Imani Wants To Get Elena Out Of The Picture

The Young and the Restless spoilers say that if there’s anything that we’ve learned about life in this fictional town of Genoa City, that it’s certainly not big enough for one diva, let alone two. And if there’s anyone who is about to find that out, it’s Elena, as it seems like Imani is hellbent on sabotaging her. Here’s what you need to know.

According to the latest edition of Soap Opera Digest, Elena will stop by the Chancellor and Winters’ adobe to ask Nate out for lunch. However, it seems like Imani beat her to the punch as she tells Elena that he’s already at a working lunch with Devon. If that weren’t enough, Imani jokes and says that she seems to know more about Nate’s schedule these days than she does. 

The Young and the Restless Co-Executive Producer and Head Writer Josh Griffith tells the publication in a new interview, “As much as Elena feels a solid and strong relationship with Nate, he did sleep with her when she was with Devon. She knows he’s capable of deceit under the right circumstances.”

The Young and the Restless spoilers also say that Nate will let both Imani and Devon know that Elena wants to host a medical podcast for the Chancellor Winters, so Nate tells Imani to try and get Elena off her Newman Media contract. Nate is also hopeful that this all can be done before she gets back from her conference in Hawaii.

The Young and the Restless Spoilers: What’s Next For Elena?

Griffith teases, “Given what she wants and who she is, Imani would be a fool not to try something while Elena is away. Imani’s not happy about Elena possibly coming to the company, so she wants to keep that from happening.”

In other words, it sounds like Imani is doing everything that she can to provoke a reaction from Elena. Needless to say, The Young and the Restless fans will have to tune in to find out what will happen next!
