She’s got her back. The Bold and the Beautiful star Denise Richards is defending her daughter Sami Sheen’s decision to start her own OnlyFans account, despite all of the negative commentary she’s been getting online. Here’s what you need to know.
Sami, who Denise shares with her ex Charlie Sheen, shocked the world when she announced on her Instagram page that she would be providing exclusive behind-the-scenes content for her OnlyFans subscribers. The move has certainly been a controversial one as her own father Charlie told Page Six, “I do not condone this, but since I’m unable to prevent it, I urged her to keep it classy, creative and not sacrifice her integrity.”
That said, Denise has decided to speak up about the matter and defend her daughter’s decision. “Lots of negative comments on my social this past week,” the World Is Not Enough star wrote on Instagram. “I have to say, I wish I had the confidence my 18 yr old daughter has.”
Denise continued, “I wish I had the confidence my 18 yr old daughter has. And I also can’t be judgmental of her choices. I did Wild Things & Playboy, quite frankly her father shouldn’t be either. And to be able to ignore the negativity at her age? It took me many years & I still sometimes struggle.”
Denise’s statement continues, “Is it so bad to control it & monetize it too? I’m sorry, but s*** if I can get paid and at my age? to see me in a bikini?!? God bless you. Perhaps I should open my own account..”
Of course, many of her fans and followers commented on the matter with, “The point is she’s 18, whether you like it or not you can’t control her. And being negative and nasty isn’t helping. She’ll be ok,” along with, “Your daughter is 18 and allowed to make her own decisions. I’m thankful social media wasn’t around to judge me for the decisions I made when I was 18 we all have to find our own way through life.”
Another fan wrote, “I heart you and wish you were back on #RHOBH. As a mom to a daughter who’s 17 and is wayyyyy into SM, Euphoria, etc. it’s just all a lot to take in. You were pregnant with Lola when I was pregnant with my daughter (they’re about a month apart) and it’s just to think of these kids as young women. Kudos for you for speaking out and please come back to BH!”
