Days of Our Lives star Chrishell Stause (ex-Jordan Ridgeway) has just won a rather prestigious award! While many of her fans might know her best for her daytime television work, the All My Children and The Young and the Restless alum won Best Reality Star at the 2022 MTV Awards this past week. Here’s what you need to know.
Chrishell managed to beat all of the Kardashians and the Real Housewives in the world by winning Best Reality Star for her Netflix series, Selling Sunset. During her speech, Chrishell thanked her fans for their support and also for all of the love she’s gotten ever since she came out as bisexual. Chrishell is currently dating Australian singer G Flip.
“Thank you so much MTV. Thank you so much, Adam DiVello and Skyler [Wakil],” she began. “I have to thank Netflix, our leaders. Jason [Oppenheim], I..thank you guys so much, and most importantly, the whole cast. I wouldn’t be standing here..you can’t do a reality show without all of…every single person makes it work. So thank you guys so much. And just really quick, I knew about this nomination before I had said, you know, anything about my sexuality. I’m not trying to get really deep with you guys, but the fact that this was voted on after means so much to me. Because I wasn’t sure, you know, how that was going to go and thank you so much guys. I appreciate it.”
As many of her fans probably already know, Chrishell has come a long way in the last few years. She was previously married to This is Us star Justin Hartey for two years before he pulled the plug on their marriage back in 2019. It’s great to see that Chrishell has moved on and that she’s found some real happiness in her life, too. We can’t wait to see what she will do next!
