The Young and the Restless spoilers say that things aren’t looking so good between Nate and Elena right now. Because of their professional demands, they are having a hard time trying to spend any quality time together. That, of course, is going to lead to some major complications in their relationship. According to the latest edition of Soap Opera Digest, Brytni Sarpy, who plays Elena on the hit CBS soap, admits that her romance with Nate isn’t going the way that she had hoped. She tells the publication in an interview, “Nate’s new career proves to be more involved than previously anticipated, and Elena is surprised. I don’t think Elena is necessarily insecure because of his busy schedule. She understands that better than anyone else.”

The Young and the Restless spoilers say that Elena then has a dream and that she sees Imani trying to seduce Nate and of course, this troubles her. It’s troubling that she thinks they are having sex in her dreams, when in reality that hasn’t happened yet. Brytni continues, “Elena knows what she and Nate have built together, but Imani showing up in Elena’s dreams is disturbing and unsettling to her.”

The Young and the Restless Spoilers: What’s Next For Elena And Nate?

The Young and the Restless spoilers also tease that the next day Elena shows up at Crimson Heights, where Imani happens to be seated by herself. She invites her to join her to hopefully iron out some of the issues that they have. Brytni says, “Elena agrees to a sit down with Imani to gauge how dangerous she is. Elena has made it very clear to Imagine that Nate is off limits, so she doesn’t feel the need to drive that point. Still, Imani starts button pushing.”

Elena might just be paranoid or she might really be on to something. Either way, we have a feeling that Elena being jealous of Imani all the time sure won’t help get her any closer to Nate, right?
