They used to be best friends both on and off camera, but it looks like that’s all now all in the past. While there was a time in which The Young and the Restless star Melissa Claire Egan would have done anything for Chrishell Stause, it seems like she now prefers to spend time with her ex, Justin Hartley instead. Here’s what you need to know.
Back when Justin and Chrisell were still married, Melissa was best friends with the two of them. As a matter of fact, soon after Justin decided to pull the plug on their marriage it was Melissa who was spotted showing her support towards her friend Chrishell.
Well, something must have changed between then and now because it seems like Melissa is much closer to Justin Hartley and his new wife Sofia Pernas than she is to Chrishell. In fact, it looks like Melissa along with her husband Matt Katrosar had a fun date night with The Young and the Restless alums and even shared a photo on her Instagram account. How fun!
Clearly, Melissa and Justin have been friends ever since Justin was a part of the show before he left in 2015 to star in the ABC dramedy This is Us. And while Justin might be one of the biggest names in the celebrity world right now, it’s great to see that he hasn’t forgotten or even let go of his daytime television roots at all. That, and he hasn’t forgotten about his friends, either. To be a fly on the wall during that date night conversation, right? Here’s hoping that we are going to see more of these two good-looking couples hanging out in the future, too!
Meanwhile, Chrishell has moved on with a new love interest in her life: Australian rapper G Flip. Recalling how they met, G Flip told People: “We were both with our ex-partners then … And then, we obviously separated from our partners, and we just started talking and stuff. We just found a lot of similarities, even though people would think we are from like different corners of the world. We find ourselves so similar sometimes.”
