The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Is Chelsea About To Have Another Mental Breakdown?

The Young and the Restless spoilers say that there’s some speculation that Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan) is close to having another mental breakdown. In fact, she can’t help but “lose it,” so to speak, at Rey Rosales’ memorial service, which has a lot of fans wondering what might be really going on in her head. Here’s what you need to know.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say that Chelsea will head to Sharon Newman’s house for Rey’s memorial service. While Mariah tries to tell her that they want to keep the memorial small, Sharon tells her to come inside anyway. While there, Chelsea admits that she wishes she had more than just a friendship with Rey and wonders out loud if what they had could have developed into something more. She then breaks down and cries and believes that she lost a potential future lover in Rey, despite the fact that he was with Sharon. Clearly, Chelsea is overstepping all kinds of boundaries here, but that doesn’t seem to matter to her.

Of course, it didn’t take long at all for both The Young and the Restless fans and followers to comment on the matter. Many of them wrote, “I think that Chelsea needs to focus on herself, work, and Conner  Chelsea is taking Rey”s death rather hard, even harder then Sharon which means she had real feelings for Rey and wanted a future with him but he wasn’t hers to to lose,” along with, “Her son and her career should be her focus to help her thru her sadness and loss of a friend…I’m sure It must upset Connor to see his mom sad.”

Another fan wrote, “She’s pining over a married dead man that would never leave Sharon or mess around with the likes of her! Seriously! SEND Chelsea, Mariah/Tessa walking down the same aisle to ‘Neverland’, never to return! Find another Rey.”
