General Hospital news says that the “he said” and “she said” reports are slowly but surely coming out of the woodwork when it comes to Steve Burton and Sheree Burton’s split. Daytime television fans were left absolutely shocked last week when Steve took to his Instagram account to clarify that while his wife was indeed pregnant, the child that she is carrying does not belong to him. Here’s what you need to know.
According to People, some sources suggest that Steve and Sheree were somewhat living separate lives before she got pregnant. Apparently, things just weren’t the same after Steve lost his job at General Hospital. As many fans probably already know, Steve was given the boot after he failed to comply with the ABC network’s vaccine mandate.
One insider now says that Sheree has become “unhappy” and that she was looking for “something more,” which might have been the reason for their split. The tipster said, “Their lives were changed when he went through some upheaval and anger over what he considered his freedoms being in jeopardy. He had to leave a show that he loved, which caused chaos in his life.” The insider also added, “Their lives have been in the coasting stage for a while. After a long marriage, it’s not that unusual.”
Because Sheree shared a photo of her baby bump in one of her Instagram stories, Steve had to take to his own account to clarify that the child did not belong to him.
“I wanted to clear something up. Sheree and I are separated,” he wrote on his Instagram Story. “She recently announced that she’s expecting her 4th child. The child is not mine.”
Steve added, “We are still co-parenting our three beautiful kids. We would appreciate privacy at this time. Much luv, Steve.”
So far neither Steve nor Sheree have made any additional comments about the matter. Sheree also hasn’t said who the father of her child is. Leave them alone to raise their kids. Steve had a right to be upset about losing his job over a vaccine that no one should get. And she’s pregnant no matter what she/he did she doesn’t need stress.
I agree that Steve had a right to refuse a vaccine that he did not want to take. However, he was well aware what the consequences of his decision would be. GH has a right to take whatever measures tit felt necessary to protect the health and lives of the actors and other employees from a dangerous pandemic that is ravaging the entire world! Stating that no one should get the vaccine is merely your opinion, not fact! You are recklessly wrong to state it as if it is!! The scientific community has NEVER said the vaccine was 100% able to prevent contracting covid. Further, it has been repeatedly stated that the virus might mutate into more deadly and more highly contagious strains. Scientists are working around the clock to create more and more vaccines and other methods to kill or greatly slow the spread of the virus! They don't have all the answers but they are trying their best too find them and advising us based on what they have learned thus far. Don't presume that you know more than they do. You should be GRATEFUL for their efforts instead of bad mouthing the vaccines because
because they aren't 100% effective yet. The vaccines HAVE prevented many deaths and most of the deaths reported occurred PRIOR to the vaccines, the mask mandates AND the shut downs! It should be obvious to anyone that as the virus mutates, stronger vaccines or boosters will be necessary. ALSO, clearly the return of kids to classrooms and adults to eating out and publicly entertaining themselves unmasked instead of adhering to very simple, non-painful measures such as staying home and, if going out into the public, wearing a mask, using hand sanitizing products, washing hands thoroughly, social distancing, and TAKING THE VACCINE AND BOOSTERS to prevent severe, deadly infection of themselves and/or others who may become infected is short sighted and fool hardy!! IMHO, Steve made the wrong decision, but yes, it was his decision to make.
She should have stuck by him no matter what even if he lost his job! That is what you do for each other when you are married! But instead she chose to betray their marriage and fool around! I have nothing for her! Her true nature came out, when the tough got going she ran!!!
