The Young and the Restless spoilers hint that things might get worse for Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) before they get better. Soon after she arrives back home from Rey’s funeral in Miami, her family finds that her calm demeanor might mean that she’s not fully coping with her husband’s death. Speaking to Soap Opera Digest in a new interview, Sharon Case, who plays Sharon Newman on the hit CBS soap, says that her character might just be going  through the motions right now. She said, “Sharon feels like she’s going ok. She believes she’s grieving the way she’s supposed to. When you lose someone, it’s not all grief all the time. There are different emotions that come up in different beats and different days until you get through it, and she feels that she’s on track with that.” 

That said, The Young and the Restless spoilers say that Sharon is going to put her energy into making sure that Mariah and Tessa’s wedding goes off without a hitch. Sharon continued, “She just wants to propel everybody forward and have a happy occasion. She strongly feels that Rey would not want this wedding to be canceled or postponed.”

That said, The Young and the Restless spoilers also tease that Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will tell Sharon all about Ashland’s $250 million donation to New Hope. But, she might not be buying into his god gesture. Sharon said, “Sharon fought her cancer and won. Ashland faked his, which is unforgivable. So, she definitely has an opinion about his contribution.”

So, does this mean that Sharon is going to finally show fans a different side to her? Is she going to show Ashland that his dirty money is not needed, especially since no one can trust what he says? Maybe. Until that happens, we say watch this space.
