The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Diane Goes Face To Face With The Abbotts

The Young and the Restless spoilers say that this is going to be a reunion that no one is going to expect. When Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) decided to invite his mother Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) to the Abbott mansion, she thinks that they are just going to have another heart-to-heart conversation. Little does she know though that she’s going to come face to face with the entire Abbott family. Needless to say, it’s an ambush that she doesn’t appreciate from the start. According to the latest edition of Soap Opera Digest, when Ashley and Abby make it clear that they aren’t about to bring out the welcome mat for Susan, Traci reminds everyone that they are united in doing this for Kyle. But then again, Jack Abbott isn’t helping this situation, either.

Susan Walters, who plays Diane on the hit CBS soap, puts it this way, “At one point, Jack says, ‘Well, Diane, take the stage. We’re all ears.’ Diane explains to the group what she’s already told Kyle, that with the help of a great therapist she was able to change her life for the better.”

The Young and the Restless Spoilers: What’s Next For Diane?

That said, it doesn’t seem like everyone is buying what Susan is selling, and particularly Ashley and Abby. Diane continues that the two women “want to know the name of the therapist, if that person is credentialed, how long she’s been going to therapy and if she plans to continue the sessions.”

At the same time though, Susan knows that Diane deserves the treatment that she’s getting. She’s been gone for so long and because of that, she didn’t expect a warm homecoming. However, Susan says, “What’s important to Diane is Kyle, and she’ll do anything to be part of his life again. However, her buttons will get pushed, and just a little too hard, too.”
