The Young and the Restless spoilers say that if there’s anything that is going through Nikki Newman’s mind right now, it’s that she should have killed Diane Jenkins when she had the chance! But hey, there’s nothing like a good second chance in life, right? Here’s what you need to know.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say now that Nikki knows Diane is indeed alive and well, there’s a very good chance that she might want to put her six feet under – but for real this time. In fact, many fans can’t help but wonder if there’s a brawl that’s about to brew between the two characters. During an interview with Soap Opera Digest, Susan Walters, who plays Diane on the hit show, even teased, “We’re doing a slow simmer on that side that will be building because we have two great players in Susan [Walters, Diane] and Mel [Thomas Scott, Nikki] that will make all this fantastic.”
Of course, many The Young and the Restless fans have commented on the matter online. Many have taken to their social media accounts to write, “The Diane plot is the only thing thing really working now. It’s preposterous (the name dropping of Deacon Sharpe, as if he’s a criminal mastermind at faking deaths and 2 autopsies…) but it’s interesting, using character history and affects different people. Looking forward to Nikki vs Diane,” along with, “Diane vs. Nikki is what we need. Melody Thomas Scott really arrived at those final moments of the episode. Whoever is kicking Anthony Morina & Josh Griffith in their *place* should just replace them, because I doubt this’ll last for long.”
Another fan wrote, “Yesterday YR was red hot all the way around. How it ended with Nikki seeing Diane the first time was priceless. Nikki killed it, ate Diane for dinner… then walked in the lobby and chewed out Ashland for dessert. The show needs more of that.”
