The Young and the Restless spoilers say that the spotlight isn’t big enough for both of them and that’s why one of them needs to step to the side. While opening up about the latest merger between Chancellor Industries and Hamilton Winters, Devon is surprised to hear that his sister Lily believes that they will both be present at the press conferences and other public events. Clearly, Devon doesn’t think this is a good idea at all. Keep reading below for all of the spoilers you need to know.
According to the latest edition of Soap Opera Digest, actor Bryton James, who plays Devon on the hit CBS soap, believes that his sister might be going over her head, much to his surprise. He puts it this way, “Devon knows his sister is used to being in front of the cameras. She’s been a model and spokesperson, so she has experience with that. He’s used to running his company behind the scenes, so he feels Lily is expecting a lot.”
The Young and the Restless spoilers say that Lily believes that she and her brother will actually make a good team, despite everything they have gone through in the past. Bryton explains, “She makes a good point that they are the children of Neil Winter, and Katherine Chancellor is his grandmother. But Devon is still a kid from the streets who isn’t comfortable with being in the spotlight.”
That said, Lily begins to take charge and tells Devon exactly what she expects to see happen now that they are supposed to be working together. Bryton adds, “It does make sense that they take the reins together. However, Devon realizes that he didn’t think this through, so will he be able to get on board with Lily’s vision?”
