The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Kyle Finds Out That His Mother Is Alive

The Young and the Restless spoilers say that Kyle Abbott’s (Michael Mealor) life is going to change from this point forward and there’s nothing that he can do about it. His father Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) breaks the news that his mother Diane Jenkins is indeed alive, much to the shock of just about everyone. Here’s what you need to know.

According to the latest edition of Soap Opera Digest, The Young and the Restless spoilers say that Jack is going to summon his son over for a “family matter.” Naturally, Kyle knows that something is up and whatever his father has to tell him is not good. 

Michael Mealor, who plays Kyle Abbott on the hit CBS soap, tells the publication, “Kyle urges Jack to come clean and tell him what was so important that required him to come home. Jack  tries to ease into what he has to tell Kyle, which now has him on edge. Finally, Kyle asks, ‘Dad, what is happening?’

The Young and the Restless Spoilers: What’s Next For Kyle?

After changing the subject and telling him that Keemo is dead and that he can’t wait for Kyle to meet Allie, Jack then decides to just come out with the truth and tell his son that his mother Diane is alive. Michael says that at first it’s utter devastation for Kyle. He explains, “Kyle has done so much work on himself to deal with the loss of his mother, so he has to decide if he even wants to see her. Ha and Jack have a great relationship, he has a wonderful marriage and a son he adores, so why would he open that can of works and invite chaos into his life.”

In other words, it sounds like Kyle wants absolutely nothing to do with his mother. Now, how Diane is going to deal with this remains to be seen. Watch this space.
