The Bold and the Beautiful news say that fans have a reason to celebrate and that’s because the show has been on fire lately! In fact, the hit CBS soap can now say that they have been the highest rated daytime television show two weeks in a row as they’ve managed to knock down their sister soap The Young and the Restless from its top spot. Here’s what you need to know.
According to the latest ratings, The Bold and the Beautiful came in third place in the Women 18-49 category, right behind the second hour and the first hour of The Price is Right. However, Y&R had the slight edge in viewership with 3.42 million people tuning in last week, compared to the 3,068,000 who tuned in to watch The Bold and the Beautiful.
That said, it seems like many The Bold and the Beautiful fans are ‘hate watching’ the show, which is why the ratings have been so good! That’s because people still can’t get over Finn’s tragic death. Some viewers have taken to social media to write, “B&B ratings wont last on top anyway. Finn’s death is terrible and trash now is about Steffy and Liam. I’m done with the show,” along with, “Steffy thinks she is still married to Liam. They killed off Finn for this crap again. I’m so done with this show now.”
Another critic agreed and said, “I know. it’s absolutely ridiculous. I figured when they killed off Finn that the show would return to the same boring, repetitious bs with the Steffy/Liam/Hope triangle. How this unoriginal, incestuous show brings in ratings is beyond me.”
Finn’s tragic death and Steffy’s mess of a love life aside, we’ve got two words for you: Sheila Carter. She’s the main reason why everyone is tuning in! It’s hard not to argue that, right?
