The Young and the Restless spoilers say that just when you thought Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) was taking one step forward in her life, it looks like she’s about to take two steps back. In fact, it seems like Victor Newman’s favorite daughter might be having second thoughts about her wayward husband, Ashland Locke (Robert Newman). In a new interview with Soap Opera Digest, Amelia Heinle, who portrays Victoria on the hit CBS soap, says that she can’t decide if she should pull the plug on her marriage to her no-good husband. That’s because she’s never felt so in love with anyone else than she does with Ashland before.
Victoria put it this way, “Victoria is a super smart 40-something business-woman, but she became blinded by love and that’s how Ashland duped her. She’s been through all of these bad experiences with men in the past, so you’d think she would have seen all these red flags. It’s a fine line between being trusting and gullible, so Victoria’s family is understandably worried that she might give him another chance.”
To make matters worse, The Young and the Restless spoilers say that Ashland isn’t sure if they should set up Adam, but should just leave town together. Amelia explains, “That causes Victoria to wonder out loud if Ashland is really science about those sentiments. Is it possible to be that ruthless but he still genuinely loves her? That has her a little confused.”
That said, it will be interesting to see what choice Victoria makes. She’ll either run away with her husband or she’ll stay to fight for her family’s name. But then again, it’s not like she hasn’t been in this position before, right? Of course, The Young and the Restless fans will have to tune in this week to find out what will happen next!
