With the Newmans on Ashland Locke’s (Robert Newman) tail, a lot of fans can’t help but wonder: should he partner up with Diane Jenkins (Susan Watkins) in order to take the family down once and for all? According to the latest The Young and the Restless spoilers, Ashland’s head might be above water for now, but the Newman family is definitely zeroing in on him and all his lies and deceptive practices. But who better to give him the support that he needs right now than Diane Jenkins? After all, you don’t come back from the dead to make amends with the people who you lost touch with in the past. Instead, you avenge them, right?
Of course, many The Young and the Restless fans have taken to social media to weigh in on the matter. Some comments have included, “I’m enjoying this so far. Killing Diane was such a stupid mistake by the writers at the time. Legacy character going back to the 1980s and killed because a recast didn’t work out? Dumb,” along wiht, “Diane and Ashland Locke needs to get it on and plot with each other to take down the Newmans. Bill Bell wrote Diane as a thorn in the Newmans and Abbots side. I hope she cause a lot of hell with Ashland Locke. Ashland can divorce Victoria and take his empire with him and start new with Diane.”
Another fan wrote, “I hope Ashland and Diane are allies. Maybe Adam since he and Diane were friends and plotting against Victor. Sally since she is isolated and not well liked by the Newmans and Abbots and Phyllis. Diane and Sally aggravating Phyllis and the power families would be fun to watch. Kyle will always love his mom no matter what she did.”

Ashland and Victoria can go to Italy and stay there. Victoria is an unsympathetic character and Ashland is a con man. And bring Rey back while you're at it. He was the last of his family to be on the show and I really enjoyed seeing him and his brother and sister on the show.
