The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Adam Makes A Threat Against Ashland

According to the latest edition of Soap Opera Digest, Adam will try to get rid of Ashalnd Locke (Robert Newman) but he’ll soon find out that it won’t be that easy. Sure, Adam has dealt with other villains in his life but it’s safe to say that Ashalnd is in a league of his own.

Speaking to the publication in a new interview, Robert Newman, who plays Ashland on the hit CBS soap, puts it this way, “In his life, Ashland has dealt with some of the worst human being on the planet trying to kill him, including gazillionaires and leaders of countries, so Adam doesn’t scare Ashland. He feels like Adam isn’t even remotely in his league, so his threats mean nothing. Asland sees Victor as a true threat but Adam? Eh.”

The Young and the Restless spoilers, however, say that Adam tries to make the case that if Ashland’s lies are exposed, it could mean bad publicity for Harrisan. Yet, Robert Newman puts it this way, “Ashland allows Adam to throw out this whole monologue about Harrison and when he’s finished, Ashland says, ‘Don’t you ever talk to me about my son again.’ He think it’s a really low blow for Adam to bring Harrison into the conversation. It’s just a line that you don’t cross. There’s nothing Adam can do that Ashland doesn’t see as a tactic – and will respond accordingly.”
