The Young and the Restless news says that some people believe that Doug Davidson’s fans are going just a little too far in their supposed trolling on social media. That, and their campaign to get him back on the show might have already run its course. Here’s what you need to know.
Many The Young and the Restless fans on social media have noticed that Doug Davidson’s fans seem rather hell bent on getting him back on the show or at least repeating it to the entire world over and over again about how upset they are that he was supposedly ‘dumped’ by the soap’s producers. Either way, some people are over it. Soon after actress Camryn Grimes celebrated her 25 years on the show, some Twitter trolls couldn’t help but make her celebration more about Doug and his absence.
Some comments from questionable trolls have included, “I’m glad she’s back on for the last several yrs but she hasn’t been on 25 successive yrs. She first started 25 yrs ago but was not on for many yrs in a row, unlike @DougDavidsonYR who was on 42 yrs, then just dumped like yesterday’s news w/o a celebration of his time on there,” along with, “So true how they kicked Doug to the curb. I sure hope they’ll bring him back soon.”
If that weren’t enough, when Camryn was tagged on a tweet that said, “@DougDavidsonYR made the show what it is,” Doug actually retweeted it. This has prompted a lot of fans to wonder if it’s time for Doug to just lay low for a little bit or either let his fans know that his career on The Young and the Restless is now a thing of the past. Either way, some critics believe that the trolling and overzealous fandom has definitely gone too far. Do you agree?

I think that they should bring him back. Because when Chance wanted to go back to the Police force Rey said that he had to talk to Paul about it. And other times he talks as if he is still there.. I think that he should come back. Maybe they should offer him more money or something like that.
