When Justin Hartley said that marriage to Sofia Pernas was ‘easy,’ he sure as heck meant it, right? The former The Young and the Restless co-stars wore matching suits for the Critic’s Choice Awards over the weekend and from what we can tell, Justin’s teenage daughter Isabella Hartley certainly approves! Here’s what you need to know.
Justin shared a photo of the hot Hollywood couple on the red carpet and captioned it with, “Wonderful night out last night. Thank you @criticschoice for the nomination. Good to see everyone out and about.” Of course, it didn’t take long for Isabella to comment with, “the suits!” The matching suits seemed to have been a huge hit among Justin’s fans!
As many fans know by now, Justin pulled the plug on his marriage to hi ex-wife Chrishell Stause back in November of 2019. Soon after, he connected with Sofia again and two began dating during the first quarter of 2020, when most of the world was in lockdown because of COVID-19. And since then, it’s been nothing but bliss for Justin and Sofia, as they officially tied the knot back in March of this year.
Justin put it this way, “We got married in March [2021], and we are so happy! It’s incredible when you’re not forcing things. It doesn’t have to be that hard. You just meet the right person and you just go, ‘Oh, this is amazing. It’s just so wonderful!’ You’re so attracted and so attached to this person. You just love this person so much.”
He also added, “Even though we’ve only been married a few months, it’s hard to remember what it was like without her. When I re-met her, I just knew. It’s so interesting about the human heart and human mind. It’s not a codependency; I’m just at peace with myself. I feel loved and I feel appreciated. I know she feels the same way. We just have a really great relationship and a really terrific family. It’s healthy and it’s wonderful.”
