We’ve got great news for The Bold and the Beautiful fans: all of the drama surrounding the Spencer, Forrester and Logan families in this fictional town of Los Angeles is going nowhere anytime soon and that’s because the soap has been renewed for two more years! Talk about exciting news. Here’s all the details you need to know.
Just as the soap is about to celebrate its 35th year on the air later the month, CBS has announced that it has also been renewed until the 2023-24 broadcast season. Now that’s something to celebrate, right?
“For 35 years, B&B has been a cornerstone of our #1 daytime lineup,” said Margot Wain, senior vice president, daytime programs, CBS Entertainment. “Congratulations to our talented cast and crew, as well as Bradley Bell, who have made this show a creative and ratings success, and thank you to B&B’s dedicated fans, whose passion for these characters and stories is unrivaled.”
As many fans probably already know, the series was created by the late William J. Bell and his wife, Lee Phillip Bell, and their son Bradley has served as writer and executive producer since 1992.
“35 years ago, I would have never imagined what was in store,” Bradley P. Bell added. “Since our premiere in 1987, it’s been a fantastic journey and incredible experience for all of us. We would not be here if not for the invaluable support of CBS and our millions of fans around the globe for their loyalty and support.”
A special episode will air on March 24 in which Jack Wagner (Nick Marone from 2003 to 2012) and Winsor Harmon (Thorne Forrester from 1996 to 2016) return. Now that’s going to be one episode that no one will want to miss. We always love a good blast from the past! Needless to say, The Bold and the Beautiful fans will have to tune in to find out what will happen next! You really need to bring back RJ. There’s been no mention of him for years. Especially with the current situation between Brooke and Ridge. Steffy keeps talking about her family with Ridge, Taylor and Thomas, but Brooke and Ridge has a biological child as well. And let’s not forget Nick and Taylor’s child (that was actually Brookes egg). Why is this child never mentioned? I remember Brooke saying she wanted a part in the child’s life but there’s been no mention of him either. The viewers remember EVERYTHING!🤣
