Actor Peter Bergman, who plays Jack Abbott on the hit CBS soap recently revealed that “giant things are at stake” for his character. Here’s what he has to say!

Speaking to Soaps.com in a new interview, Jack will be exploring his complicated feelings over Keemo’s passing. He opened up about Jack and Keemo’s deteriorating bond by saying, “And as it turns out, Jack was essentially ignoring the problem that had arisen between them. Now, he has to pay the ugliest of prices.”

That said, The Young and the Restless spoilers say that the next step Jack will take in his life is to explore Keemo’s own life, which will leave him with some surprises. Peter previewed, “Jack’s next step is to begin looking into the life that Keemo had. And what he finds is a surprise. And then, following the surprise, what comes next is going to shock the audience! Giant things are at stake. And I had fun! How many people who’ve been doing this for 42 years get to say that?”

The Young and the Restless Spoilers: What’s Next For Jack Abbott?

Many fans have commented on this storyline with, “Looking forward to this playing out. Jack’s regrets, a new Abbott. Much easier way to introduce a new family member than that nonsense with Kyle’s friend Theo,” along with, “There is no way this will be exciting – OR that the ‘high stakes’ will actually result in a dramatic storyline under Josh Griffith. CBS must just want Josh and Anthony to drag this dead show by the hair across the 2024 finish line so they can cancel it. There’s no other reason to refuse to listen to the loyal viewers of the show who are begging for quality writing and storylines that make sense.”
